My best friend is Pilgrim. He and his brother were adopted from Safe Haven in Rochester, MN 2 years ago this June. Most unfortunately, we lost Pilgrim’s dear brother, Pebbles just a couple months ago to Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We are both still grieving this huge loss. Pilgrim is about 4 years old, very athletic, loves to play and go for walks with me in the hallways. He is very social, loves meeting new people and plays my piano occasionally. He has been a terrific source of support for me since losing Pebbles, and he truly is my best friend.
